Service changes

PCA program

Extension ending November 11, 2023

A temporary six-month extension allowing parents to be paid to provide PCA program services for their minor child is ending on November 11, 2023. Contact your child's PCA agency or county/tribal case manager with questions.

Every home in Minnesota is eligible to order up to eight rapid at-home COVID-19 tests once a month, for free, while supplies last. Order yours today.

Your insurance may cover nonprescription tests. The tests may be free when you purchase them. Or, you might need to submit a claim for reimbursement. Contact your insurance company for specific information.

Vaccine eligibility

Every Minnesotan age 6 months and older is eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccine safety

Children and youth with specialized health needs and disabilities may be at a higher risk for more severe illness from COVID-19. Families and caregivers are asked to strongly consider vaccinating children with any underlying health condition or disability. Review this information for caregivers (PDF) for more.

Vaccine locations

Adults 18 years and older without health insurance and adults whose health insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccine costs can get updated vaccines at no cost through the Bridge Access Program. Visit vaccines.gov to find providers offering this no-cost option.
