The Minnesota Legislature created the LTSS Advisory Council to help create a sustainable future for Minnesota LTSS. Their role is to recommend to the legislature strategies to reduce LTSS costs by approximately $178 million in the 2028/2029 biennium. Representatives from service providers, advocacy organizers, individuals and families receiving services, and other groups all collaborate on the council to develop ideas.
