The basics

 Disability waiver programs available in Minnesota include:

• Community Alternative Care (CAC) Waiver
  This waiver serves people with disabilities who need the level of care normally provided in a hospital.
• Community Access for Disability Inclusion (CADI) Waiver
  This waiver serves people with disabilities who need the level of care normally provided in a nursing facility.
• Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver
  This waiver serves people with developmental disabilities or related conditions who need the level of care normally provided in an intermediate care facility for people with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD).
• Brain Injury (BI) Waiver
  This waiver provides services to people with a documented brain injury who need neurobehavioral hospital or nursing facility level of care.
